Huck Seed is from Las Vegas in the United States and is well known for his silence at the tables, he just lets his skill at playing poker do all the talking for him.  He stands at a very impressive 6ft 7in, but it is not just his height that impresses at the poker tables. Seed was an Engineering student before taking up poker; in 1989 Huck took some time out to play poker and hasn't looked back since.   Seed started as a player poker at the age of 27 years.  Although quite a late starter, he has amassed a huge sum of winnings, a staggering $5,167,160, and gained an impressive poker player profile as on five occasions Seed has won the coveted WSOP bracelet.  Huck has 86 cashes to his name and has had 1st place finishes on 13 separate occasions.  His most recent big win was at the NBC Heads Up Championship in 2009 where he took 1st place and the $500,000 prize money.  Seed also took 1st place at the 41st World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions in 2010 with another $500,000 winning.  His biggest winning haul to date is $1,000,000 back in 1996 at the 27th Annual World Series of Poker. Like most gamblers Seed likes to have a few proposition bets and is well known for the outlandish bet where he lost $10,000 to Phil Hellmuth.  He bet that he could float for 24 hours in a body of water, he lost this bet but soon made the money back after beating Hellmuth $2,000 in a game in 9-ball.
